Forgot Username or Password?

Your User Name and Password
Your user name and password were assigned when you first registered to use the Virtual Library. They can be changed by using the "Update your VL Site Profile" link on the Virtual Library home page.

Lost User Name or Password
There are two ways to obtain a reminder. to receive one by email, enter your email address and CPSA number in the boxes below. If you remember your user name but not your password, use the second option to have your password displayed on your computer screen.

Your Email Address
The email address you enter will be compared to the email address in your user profile. If the addresses do not match, you will receive an error message.

Your CPSA Number
Enter your membership number from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (not the Alberta Medical Association). It contains six characters (e.g. 001234, 012345, S12345, E12345). Guest users have been given a similar number (e.g. G12345) at the time of registration..

2. Onscreen Option
Enter your username and we will retrieve your security question. If you answer this question correctly you will be able to see your password on screen. Please close the browser window immediately after you have memorized your password!
