Harrison's Textbook of Internal Medicine
The on-line version of this popular textbook is updated monthly, making it more current than the textbooks in MD Consult.

Tintinalli's Textbook of Emergency Medicine
This practical textbook is also updated monthly.  It is a useful reference for any physician providing emergency medical care.

ACP Medicine
This textbook-like Internal Medicine database is updated monthly and provides more detail than what is available in Harrison's.  It is sponsored by the American College of Physicians.

ACS Surgery
This textbook-like General Surgery database is updated monthly.  It is sponsored by the American College of Surgeons.
