Palm OS PDA display
Display Screen
- A large window at the top of the computer
- Displays a menu or the contents of the current application
- Most models have a color display
Graffiti Screen
- A small window below the main display area (on models without a keyboard)
- Used for handwritten text entry using "Graffiti" software
- The left side of the screen is used to enter letters, the right side for numbers
- Includes small icons to activate the alphabetic ("abc") and numeric ("123") on-screen keyboards
Home Icon
- Icon located on the upper left of the Graffiti area
- Displays a list of available applications
- The list can be organized into categories
- Tap the button again to cycle through the available categories
Options Icon
- Icon located on the lower left of the Graffiti area
- Displays a list of options for the current application
Calculator Icon
- Icon located on the upper right of the Graffiti area
- Medical calculators are available as an accessory
Find Icon
- Magnifying Glass icon located on the lower right of the Graffiti area
- Searches for selected text in all basic applications
