- Flat panel displays are used on laptops, and as desktop units
- The desktop units take up much less desk space than a CRT
- The entire screen is visible
- Does not flicker
- Some find them hard to look at for prolonged period, others love them
- The most common size is a 15-inch screen (similar viewing area to a 17 inch CRT)
